Discover North Georgia:
The Bluet Challenge
Lace up those hiking boots!
The Bluet Challenge invites you to experience a taste of the Southern Appalachian region while learning more about the landscapes, communities, and natural resources that make it special.
This four-trail hiking challenge is a go-at-your-own-pace adventure. Along the way, you will discover new trails and the importance of the land around you, while connecting with the conservation work protecting the region.
There’s no race, required schedule, or need to complete the trails in a particular order. The Bluet Challenge is all about getting outside, discovering something new, and enjoying North Georgia's lands. Our conservation partners own and manage these trails, while MCT holds the conservation easements on Yellow Creek Conservation Area and Trails and Burnt Mountain Preserve.
